No. Aura borrows the daily-ritual structure that horoscope culture got right, but it doesn't depend on planets, transits, or celestial mechanics. The framework is psychological rather than astrological. If you love astrology, you'll probably still enjoy Aura. If you've always found astrology too literal, Aura is built for you.

Premium unlocks the deeper sections, shadow self, hidden strengths, blind spots, love patterns, and the 30-day forecast, plus unlimited Connections and the full daily reading rather than the shortened version. The free experience gives you your type, the core statement, and a daily reading. Premium gives you the rest of the map.
Aura Premium is $7.99 per month or $47.99 per year. The annual plan works out to about $4 a month. There's no ad tier, the app is either free with the lighter daily experience, or paid with the full depth content.
Aura ships in English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Italian, Japanese, Korean, and Simplified Chinese. The reading copy is translated, not auto-generated, so the literary voice carries across languages. More are planned.
Subscriptions are managed through your Google Play account. Open Google Play, tap your profile icon, choose Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions, find Aura, and cancel. The cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, you keep Premium until then.
Yes. Aura stores the minimum required to give you a personalized reading, your name, your birth date, and any Connections you add. We don't sell data, we don't run ad networks, and we don't share with third parties beyond the infrastructure required to deliver the app. The full policy is on the Privacy page.
Co-Star is astrology, built around your natal chart, with daily readings generated from planetary positions. Aura uses an aura-type framework instead of a celestial one, with twelve archetypes derived from name and birth date. The app itself is free to install and use without a subscription, you get your type and a daily reading at no cost. Premium has a short introductory trial through Google Play that varies by region and time of year. Open the app and tap Upgrade to see what's currently offered for your account.
Only if you show them. Your readings are private to your device and account. The Connections feature lets you add the people in your life, partner, sibling, close friend, to see how your aura types relate, but their readings stay on their device. You see compatibility notes, not their daily content.
